Description

Operation Mercury was the plan executed by the Germans in May 1941 to take the island of Crete. It was an airborne operation where the paracidal units played the main role, however, the 5th Gebrigs Division (5th mountain troops division) with a force of approximately 15,000 men was also landed on the island with the mission to take the airfield of Maleme.

This Dragon kit reproduces 4 mountain soldiers in the uniform they wore during the battle of Crete.
