Description

The R35 was a French light tank, developed in the 1930s and entered service during World War II. The R35 was developed by the Renault company, within the tactical doctrines followed by the French regarding the use of armored forces, in the interwar period, this tank was designed to support the infantry, thus sacrificing its speed and mobility.

About 1500 of these tanks were produced before the invasion of France by the Germans in May 1940.
