The Ford Model T car is one of the most famous cars in history and the first to have the honor of having been mass-produced following the chain production method that simplified and cheapened its manufacture.

In 1917, during World War I, the Ford T served as an ambulance base, it was light enough to drive in the muddy terrain typical in the shell-shattered combat zones of the Great War.
