Description

The“Dragoons” were a light cavalry unit created by Peter I the Great in 18th century Russia.

These soldiers wore dark-colored uniforms and high helmets, and used a combination of weapons such as pistols, sabers and spears. They excelled in battles thanks to their mobility and ability to attack quickly and retreat without being caught.

Dragoons were an integral part of the army of Peter I the Great and were used in several important battles, including the Great Northern War against Sweden.
