German Tank Hunter Marder III M, Normandy Tamiya-35364

Description

The Marder III M was one of the largest German tank destroyers using the chassis of the Czech Panzer 38 (t).

The turret of the 38(t) had been replaced by an open casemate in which a 75 mm gun was mounted.

This version of the Marder III actively participated in the German defensive positions during the landing of the Allied units in Normandy in June 1944.
