Superb 1/700 reproduction of the British cruiser Hood. She was the last battlecruiser built by the United Kingdom in 1916, after the Great War she was slightly remodeled. When World War II began, it had a crew of 1,400 men and was armed with 8 381 mm guns, 14 101 mm anti-aircraft guns, 20 Vickers 12.7 mm machine guns, 4 torpedo tubes of 533 mm, as well as a hundred rocket launchers of the “unrotated projectile” type. Its greatest weakness was its fragile armor, which was lowered to achieve a lower weight and higher speed.
The Hood was sunk in May 1941 by the German battleship Bismarck during the Battle of the Denmark Strait.
