Description

The French cuirassiers were the elite of the Napoleonic armies. They based their attack on quick assaults in closed formation, they were armed with helmets and breastplates (which protected them from the firearms of the time at medium distances).

Their main weapon was the sword, although they also carried a pistol as a secondary weapon.
