Soviet fighter LAGG-3 1/48 Zvezda-4833

The LaGG-3 of the 66 series was the last liquid-cooled aircraft designed by Lavochkin’s team. After modifications to its design, it reached a top speed of 591 km/h, 25 km/h more than previous versions. This fighter was armed with a 20 mm cannon and a 12.7 mm machine gun, making it the most advanced variant of the LaGG-3 series. It was produced at the GAZ-31 plant in Tiflis (Tbilisi) from May 1943 until June 1944, when the production of the model was definitively stopped, marking the end of this iconic series.
