Soviet heavy tank KV-2 1/72 Zvezda-5084

The KV-2 was a Soviet heavy tank developed in 1940 from the combat trials of the KV in the Winter War. To improve its capability against fortifications such as the Mannerheim Line, it was equipped with a 152 mm howitzer. In February 1940, the first three KV-2s with MT-1 turret arrived at the front and were well appreciated by the army. Between 1940 and 1941, 180 units were produced at the Kirov Plant in Leningrad. Although most were lost in combat, at least one participated in the Krasnoborsk offensive in 1943, even facing German Tigers.
