The M13/40 was the standard battle tank of the Italian armed forces during World War II.
The M13/40 was a typical light tank of its time, built by overlapping riveted steel plates and its suspension was based on the British Vickers system.
About 800 M13/40 tanks were built, most of them were in service in the North African campaign.
