Description

The Sherman M4 was a medium tank developed by the US to fight on the battlefields of World War II. It was manufactured in large numbers during WWII and became the backbone of the U.S. armored forces.

The M4A3E8 variant began production in the winter of 1944, was known as the “Easy Eight” and introduced many technical improvements that significantly improved its operational effectiveness (improvements mainly focused on the gun, suspension and speed). These improvements, together with the solidity and reliability of its units, ensured that this tank continued in service during the Korean War (1950-53).
