The 75mm KwK 37 L/24 gun was a low-velocity gun developed by Germany during World War II. Designed primarily as an infantry support gun, it was mounted on vehicles such as the Panzer IV Ausf. A-F and the StuG III Ausf. A-E. Its short 24-caliber tube was optimized for firing high explosive projectiles, being effective against fortifications and enemy positions, but limited in armor penetration against more modern tanks. After 1942, the KwK 37 was replaced by longer-range guns, although it continued to be used in secondary roles.
