Sd.Kfz. 250/3:
The Sd.Kfz. 250/3 was a variant of the Sd.Kfz. 250 equipped with radio equipment and frame or whip antennas, used for battlefield communications. It was employed by senior German commanders, including Erwin Rommel in North Africa, who christened it “Greif”.
Erwin Rommel, known as the “Desert Fox,” was a German field marshal during World War II. He excelled in the North African campaign with innovative tactics and bold leadership. Respected by allies and enemies alike, he was involved in the plot against Hitler and died in 1944.
