Description

Set of Soviet cavalry soldiers during World War II.

Although at the outbreak of the war, the cavalry was already a weapon in clear recession, still when the conflict broke out the USSR had almost 30 cavalry divisions.

The greatest advantages of these units were their mobility, they could access areas where mechanized units could not (due to the state of the terrain) and they were faster than infantry.
