Description

Attacks with Mustard gas, an insecticide created in 1860, became very frequent by both sides during the First World War. They were used as an offensive weapon to prepare the assault on enemy defensive positions, the toxic gas was in many cases as dangerous for the one who launched it as for the one who received it (in case the air changed direction unexpectedly), so the use of gas masks was widespread among all the contenders in the conflict.
