C8 MkII “Quad” 4×4 was a Canadian-developed military artillery vehicle used primarily by British and Commonwealth forces during World War II.
This truck, manufactured by Ford and Chevrolet, was specifically designed to tow field artillery pieces, such as 25-pounder guns and 6-pounder howitzers.

C8 MkII Early was an early version of this model, with four-wheel drive, which allowed it to travel efficiently over difficult terrain.
