The KFK (Kriegsfischkutter) were ships developed by the Germans during World War II. They were built using fishing boats as a base, which were refitted for various purposes such as mine clearance, submarine detection or patrol boats.
The basic armament included 20 mm or 37 mm guns, mounted on a platform in the bow and above the wheelhouse. Over time, armament options changed and could include a 37 mm automatic cannon and up to six 20 mm.
