The Sd.Kfz. 234/2known as “Puma”, was an armored reconnaissance vehicle used by the German army during World War II.
This model was distinguished by its “Puma” turret. Luchs“(Lynx), equipped with a 5 cm KwK 39 cannon, which gave it considerable firepower for a reconnaissance vehicle. The Sd.Kfz. 234/2 was developed from the Sd.Kfz. 234 series and was noted for its speed and maneuverability, thanks to its 8-wheel chassis and diesel engine. Its closed turret gave it greater protection compared to other vehicles of the same series, making it suitable for engaging enemy light armor. The “Puma” was mainly employed in reconnaissance and combat missions on the western and eastern front.
