Battleship HMS Exeter Trumpeter-06744

Description

The heavy cruiser Exeter fought in World War II as part of the British Royal Navy. She was a York class cruiser that fought against the German Graf Spee during the battle of the Río de la Plata, in that battle she was severely damaged, which led her to be repaired and sent back to the war in the Pacific. In 1942 it was sunk by the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Battle of Surubaya.
