Description
HMS Nelson was a British World War II cruiser. Its design, which placed three triple turrets with 40.6 cm guns, the engine room and other important areas in the forward half of the barque, the best protected, made it a revolutionary ship at the time.
She was built in 1927 and participated in many missions: convoys to Malta and North Africa, Sicily and Salerno.
