In the summer of 1942 the 6th German Army, commanded by General Von Paulus, received the order to attack Stalingrad, a symbolic city for the Soviet Union and an important communications hub due to its proximity to the Volga and Don rivers.
Everything surrounding the Battle of Stalingrad was brutal and savage, one of the most famous battles took place when the Germans prepared to take the industrial zone of the city, an important objective, and especially the old tractor factory where, which had become a center of production of T-34 tanks and Russian artillery.
