Set of French artillery from the War of the Spanish Succession. This conflict took place in the early years of the eighteenth century and its final trigger was the death without descendants of the Spanish monarch Charles II, this death was followed by a struggle for the throne that made Castile and some European powers (including France) fought for the new peninsular king was Philip V, while Aragon-Catalonia (along with countries like England, among others) are positioned in favor of the Archduke Charles.
