The BMD-1P is a modernized version of the Soviet BMD-1 airborne combat vehicle, designed to operate alongside paratroopers. This upgraded version incorporates a Konkurs (AT-5 Spandrel) anti-tank missile system in place of the previous Malyutka, which significantly improves its combat capability against armor. The BMD-1P retains its ability to be parachuted and operate in difficult terrain, including water areas. It is equipped with a 73 mm cannon, machine guns and a versatile propulsion system. Lightweight, fast and adaptable, this vehicle is still in service with some armed forces thanks to its tactical reliability.
