Air superiority fighter Mirage III E 1/48 Italeri-2816

The Dassault Mirage III is an icon of the French aeronautical industry and began production in the early 1960s to equip the French Air Force (Armée de l’Air). This fighter aircraft stood out for its effectiveness and quickly became an export success, being used in numerous countries and participating in conflicts in the 1970s and 1980s. Its unique design, with a delta-shaped wing, allowed it to reach speeds in excess of Mach 2 thanks to its Snecma Atar engine with afterburner. Following the Mirage IIIC model, intended for interception, Dassault developed the Mirage IIIE version, designed for ground attack missions and with a multirole role. This version featured a longer fuselage to accommodate advanced avionics systems, enhancing its combat capabilities and consolidating the Mirage III as one of the most versatile aircraft of its time.
