The 7 Tons Polish ( 7TP) was a light tank built by the Polish Army during the 1930s under license from the British 6-ton Vickers, which was improved in key aspects such as its gun (37 mm gun), armor and diesel engine that made it more reliable than its English cousin.
The 7TP was a good tank for its time, it outperformed the German Pz I and PZ II tanks, however, the small number produced (less than 200 units) and the tactics employed in its use reduced its effectiveness during the invasion of Poland by the Wehrmacht in 1939.
